iPremom was part of the 73rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI 2026), held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
During the meeting, two members of the team presented work related to preeclampsia.
Dr. Tamara Garrido-Gomez shared research on decidualization resistance in preeclampsia, focusing on endometrial changes linked to the condition.
Nerea Castillo presented the recently published Nature Communications study on the use of maternal plasma cell-free RNA for early prediction of preeclampsia subtypes. This work received the President’s Presenter Award.
These presentations reflect ongoing work around earlier detection and better understanding of pregnancy complications.
